View Guard Frame/Lok™ Attachment Systems set out to be Canada's and the World's leading and most knowledgeable security company in the field of proper installation of security film for all residential and commercial applications. Certain applications, such as sliding glass doors and commercial store fronts, required an additional support system in order for the security film to work effectively. We pursued this challenge and developed and patented The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™.


When glass fails it present two major threats. Flying shards of glass can produce lethal projectiles causing severed harm to people. In addition, window openings that have been breached leave building open to everything.		The View Guard Frame/Lok™ System is design to retrofit all existing mullions. In the event the glass breaks fragments of glass is held in place within the frame reducing the likelihood of injury.		View Guard Frame/Lok System clearly demonstrate how the system absorb and evenly transfer the impact load throughout the systems.

Our Frame/Lok system was designed to retro fit any installation required, whether be PVC,Plastic,or other foreign material that could be used in maintaining the glass from pre-mature blow out or other uncontrollable event. Other requirements include adding the special effect of elasticity into our Frame/Lok system, so as to absorb and transfer the shock load evenly throughout the system without it being pulled apart, using only a very high bonding adhesive system. The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™ enabled us to properly and physically bond the film/glass to the existing frame.

When combined together, the elastic effect of the Frame/Lok and strong physical bond virtually eliminated the likelihood of the filmed/glass being blown, pushed or forced out of its frame entirely. Next we set out to aesthetically match every color possibility to suit nearly all existing mullions, something not considered by other competitive products.

Why the Frame/Lok Attachment System?

The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™ enables security film to resist repeated attempts to smash the window and physically push the glass out of the frame. While security window helps keep glass together if broken, The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™ helps keep the film/glass combination locked inside the perimeter of the frame in the event of an attempted break-in, explosion or accident. The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™ is the second part of the retrofit security film equation.

	The final consideration in the development of The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System was to backup the strengthened glass and attempt to further improve loss prevention during break in attempts. We realized that after a potential intruder was initially deterred by the View Guard Frame/Lok system that strengthened the glass they may attempt to gain access to premises through some other vulnerable point on the structure. Since time is a burglar's worst enemy, we completed our system with advanced Glass Break Sensor technology. An alarm call into a security monitoring station, when an intruder is attempting to get through the protected glass, might almost be like have the police looking over their shoulder.
What is the View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™? The View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System is a Canadian Invention. With many years of development and testing, the View Guard Frame/Lok Attachment System™ combines an aesthetically pleasing, secure and inexpensive method of attaching or "anchoring" a window coated with a security film laminate to the interior side of the existing frame.

		What Other Styles of Frame/Lok Are There? What Other Styles of Frame/Lok Are There? The inventor of Frame/Lok has thought through and designed a Frame/lok for all applications. Our designs include Z/Lok, Flush/Mount/Lok, Angle/Lok and Door/Lok. All View Guard Attachment Systems are manufactured to suit your needs. Frame/Lok is available in 8 an 10 foot lengths. The shelf life of the special adhesive is 5 year from purchase before application.

We offer 32 standard colors which easily blend with pre-existing window or door frames.

We also have 188 custom colors. This wide range of color options means that near-perfect or exact color matchs are available. After proper installation, The View Guard Frame/Lok looks like it was a part of the original door or window frame installation.

As well as a large variety of colors, the View Guard Frame/lok Attachment System™ is also available in a variety of different styles. Each style has it's own particular application.
